Supporting projects by being able to write a check is a wonderful thing. Many people in need, both right here in our own community as well as in far away places like the Philippines, Jamaica, South Africa, Mexico and host of other countries, have felt that kind of direct support from our little, but mighty, Anaheim Hills Rotary Club.
However, supporting projects through "hands-on" contributions brings a special reward to both the givers that care, and the recipients who appreciate. AHRC continually endeavors to do as many hands-on projects as possible during each Rotary year, between July 1 and June 30.
Although we frequently send e-mail to our club members and others on distribution, we are often so pleased and proud of the things we do, we want everyone to be aware. A good number of those deeds are reported in the local newspapers... the Orange County Register or the Anaheim Hills News... but certainly not everything.
